I only have a 802.11b PCMCIA card now, so I'll need to
invest in a g card. I'll have to see what's on ebay
NS will only show traffic to my machine from the router
I believe, but I wanted to see what can be picked up
from the PC's themselves outside the house. I have
the wifi AP pretty centralized in the house, with the
PC edging a circle around it.
is D-Link AirPlus G DWL-G630 802.11g 54Mbps Wireless LAN PCMCIA Card Bus Laptop Notebook Adapter an OK card.

No, actually NS will show NO traffic on any system! NS is NOT a sniffer, it is used for AP detection. Are all your PC's wireless? You need a "G" card because your AP is "G"? A "B" card will detect "G" AP's.
