OK - I have an SMC2655W also. I may end up selling or recommending these things to a lot of people. SMC sells the cable (MCX to N-Male?) for $40. I've looked around at a bunch of custom cable sites and they are all somewhat expensive. Anyone know where to get this thing cheap? I would build my own, but I don't really understand how -- besides the coax, and the two connectors, I'm not sure how to solder it -- i.e. doesn't the braid have to be grounded somehow to a different spot than the core cable? I don't really even trust myself since I have very little soldering experience. I could probably get it working, but it would not be as reliable, solid, or functional as the alternative.
