I'm not really sure what im doing here, but I can not seem to get my orinioco card to register an IP#.

I type ifconfig -a (to list all ethernet devices) and my Dell 4100 laptop's internal 3com 10/100 card with an IP# is detected as eth0, and then it lists the hardware mac address of my lucent card as eth1, but im not making much progress with this guy.

the latest Pcmcia stuff is installed when installing RH, but how can i configure, and get some sort of X windows graphical display to show signal streangth and what not?

Kinda lost in linux when it comes to wireless compared to windows
