In a nutshell it's unwise to use the Hirose as an external conection point if there is any chance of the connected cable be moved, jostled, thermal variances, moisture, animals or radioactive isotopes. There is no strain reflief on the connector, it's designed for single insertion testing by a machine during manufacture. .-chop-
