Remember PCM == pcmcia for notebook
LMC == PCI/ISA for desktop

As of currently I have not found any drivers that will allow for the LMC to be used by itself in a 'normal' pcmcia slot. No play, no go, no find, nada.

When I last checked they did not have a USB version available either.

I am currently still leaning toward the Lucent Orinoco USB Gold card. Best of all worlds. Can pop it open and pull out a perfectly working pcmcia card if you wanted. But that is just my opinion.

P.S. If you know of drivers to enable the LMC to work please share. My postings are only from what 'I' know, they do not necessarily mean it is the reality of the situation. :-)
