Ok so I just got my new to me Ipaq 5450 and it's got PPC 2002. I can get PPC 2003 from HP for $29.95. Since I come from a desktop/laptop world is it worth upgrading now? Does Microsoft release OS for PDA like it does it's desktops? I.E. if I buy it now will a new version be out in 6 months?

Secondly, what do you use to rotate the screen to landscape as I understand this is not supported natively by the OS?
