For example, is the Linksys USB NIC better than Netgear's for NS 0.4.0? I guess I'm making an assumption that most of the NS guru tend to lean towards one or two brands or models over the others. Or that one or two brands have a more sensitive receive, or better drivers, or reliability.
If worse comes to worse, I'll pick one on the compat list. I was hoping for someone to identify a clear winner of the ones listed though (given the USB stick requirement).

Most, if not all of the NS guru's wouldn't go for any USB stick. Most, if not all of the NS gurus would lean towards a ORiNOCO Classic Gold card.
Why ? Because it is the ONLY fully supported card, where all features of NS is working correctly, on Win9x/2K/XP.
