Attached is a patch for gpsd (current release 2.30 - no, I'm not a fan of nightlies) that works with Cygwin (current release). It took approximately 2.5 hours to write/test, so it's a little kludgey looking, but it compiles cleanly.
gpsd -n -N -D 2 /dev/com1 gives good raw NMEA output from my
DigiTraveler, so I'm pretty sure it'll work fine with kismet. I tried it with my GPSlim236 on /dev/com4, but it isn't switching to the native 38400; maybe there's a command-line argument I'm missing, or maybe my implementation of cfsetspeed is horribly br0ken.
I've "installed" kismet (current release 2005-08-R1) on Cygwin (required so far: gcc libtool libncurses-devel make ImageMagick glib2-devel gmp tzcode patch) but I haven't yet reprogrammed my spare WRT54G (2.0) so I haven't tested it. Maybe this weekend...
