Selling the 'work' nessecary to get this thing configured and openwrt loaded, I can understand (though it's pretty low in my books), but it's not a nice thing to do, especially since I went through alot of work to make it as easy and step by step as possible.

My issues are with any modification to the software (which was/is/still is GPL), and lack of proper credit. If he was just honest about what he was doing, namely that he's using my guides and software from Joshua and I and not anything that he designed, then I'd be less irritated.

The fact that he came here and asked for assistance in getting it running in the first place, help I gave freely, and not recognising it and making it like he was the genius behind it.

Had I been approached about turning it into a product for sale, it would have been at least considered. As it sits now, I'm going to do everything I can to undercut his market.

No punitive attacks please, I just want this guy to know that his sale of these units and software as it is at present is very underhanded and I certainly won't be assiting him or any of his 'customers'. Should he change things and properly credit myself and the other developers involved, as well as alerting his customers that he's using freely available software and freely available guides and the only value he is getting is the work of loading up the WRT and making the CD's

This guy has caused me to move up the timetable on a few projects that will hopefully undercut him and make it stupidly easy for consumers to accompish the same thing. When that happens (hopefully in the next couple weeks), I'll need your assitance in making sure word gets out so his customers know that they can do it themselves for a lot less.

I also extend the offer that provided you cover shipping and the obvious cost of the WRT54G, I'll install the drone for free!
