I recently bought, and finally recieved an Atheros MiniPCI card off eBay.

Currently, I don't have a wireless router, but my neighbor does. After explaining how I plan on getting my own router, but I just want to experiement with WEP cracking to make my own (and his) a bit more secure, he agreed to let me experiement.

Right now, I've been using BackTrack, since there isn't any drivers that support packet injection in Windows, but my problem is that I seem to need to patch the madwifi driver to support aireplay on Linux.

I've searched these forums and Google, but haven't found any luck on how to do this. If anyone could explain how to patch the driver with BackTrack, or if that isn't possible, another LiveCD that has a patch for the madwifi driver.
