Wood and plaster all the way through,
but see the signal isn't the problem here, its the quality of software on either end.
Both the cards are controlled by windows Zero Config... and after a few minutes/hours they blink on and off, stop working, i click "repair" and windows will spend the next millenia disabling the card.
it's either that or I routinely unplug the access point.
I need the kind of access point/card pair that will disappear, meaning i never have to fix it. and it needs to work with an Airport, Linksys is know not to.
at over 150000 pages, this forum is wonderful, but there's a lot of mess to wade though.
Isn't there some magic company that makes the quality products that seem to always work and everyone's happy with them and the world?
