I am a little new to this. I have an HP zd8000 (power hogging beast) that came with the Broadcom miniPCI card installed. I am looking for better range for hotspots. Has anyone used the Ubiquiti SRC cardbus 300mW with a 5 dbi antenna? Is this a good choice on cards?

Are their any other cards that are recommended for this purpose? Most of the other cards that I have looked at such as the Orinoco Gold or the Senao are "b" only. The SRC is "a, b, and g"
