Well, I am getting poor reception outside the home, low inside the home (within 20 ft of the router). The stats on this card indicate 150 meters or about 500 feet inside and much more outside with no obstructions. I would certainly like to take advantage of the 200-300 feet range with antenna.

I have also seen the the reviews on the Buffalo MIMO card which is nor where near the Ubiquiti, but it would appear that it may also give me additional range at a lot less cost. I am even having trouble hooking up to public wireless spots at my favorite lunctime eateryINSIDE their establishment. It is a little frustrating
