Just kidding.
I'm hoping to get the next version of my machine working within the next week or so, but I'm in the need of a new wireless adapter at the least. How does that Netgear WG111 adapter work? Any good with kismet?

Also, I might need some help with my kismet auto-start script. I can't seem to get it to quit when I put the machine in runlevel 0 or uise the shutdown command. It tries to load Kismet again, then Linux does a hard shutdown of the program, which means the log file doesn't get dumped properly.

The WG111 is a Prsim54 (softmac) chipset, so should work with kismet, as long as you use the correct driver and capturesource statement (Kismet documentation, section 12).
Are you running kismet_server alone, or also kismet_client ?
If you only run kismet_server, a "killall kismet_server" placed at an appropriate place in your shutdown script should work.
