The specs on the 1000 confirms it is the MiniPCI card.

Regarding the question on CE 3.0 again, Microsoft's Site lists Windows CE 3.0 as being Pocket PC.

Linc was there a version of CE 3.0 released that wasn't Pocket PC (i.e. using the Pocekt PC extensions)?
