I would check your antenna connections. What kind of mount & antenna are you running? With a unity gain... it's probably better that the antenna on the seat (in your laptop) but you are better off with a gain antenna. If you are running the Motorola MNO (3/4") mount, then maxrad sells a 5dbd gain antenna for about $20 bux.... works real good!@
