Todd, The configuration settings you're requesting are very basic networking 101 skills. Many members here are wifi-networking guru's and IT professionals that tend to become very irritated when new members request basic information, that could have been found with a quick search.

To establish a link with two wrt's, one is going to have to be in Client Mode, which requires third party firmware. There are many different firmware versions out there that will allow your wrt to run in client mode. You will have to research which fw will best support your needs.
This is one possible scenario.
