That is Correct!
Butt with two wrt's, he's going to need sveasoft, dd-wrt, openwrt, or other third party firmware.
Also Todd, Verify your router
version to check fw compatibility. Direct line of sight, mounting hardware indoors vs outdoor enclosures, antennas, and Ethernet plus power supply vs PoE are issue's you will have to account for also.
