Thank you all for your replies. A big question has been answered here. I will need a third party firmware on at least one of the routers. I had to leave in a hurry and did not log out properly. My cousin died unexpectedly yesterday. It was a bit of a shock. When I return I will post my exact set up in complete detail. I have been spanking my head on this for a couple of weeks already when I found this forum. I have a direct line of site at less than 250 feet. I first used net stumbler to verify that my antennae are aimed correctly. One side is a Hawking 9dbi omni and the other a cantenna (home made). I was unsure if it actually worked untill I discovered Net Stumbler. There will be a donation made right away when I return!
