Thanks for the book information, will order it off Amazon today. I have all ready started building my box of Junk. I have a 1 watt shireeninc amplifier and I just bought a Engenius 3220 26dbm Wireless Bridge/AP/ WDS New in Box off of Ebay for 76.00 Guess I did not get hurt there, and I have a few diffrent antennas.

There used to be a company here in Orange County that I was a beta tester for there wifi service back when you could only get 802.11B they put a amp and antenna on the roof of my house and aimed it a 40 story building about 9 miles away. This was about 8 years ago when DSL was not availibe at my house yet. They folded so I got to keep the antenna, box, amp cisco bridge and a free computer. I dont know why they folded if equipment was too much money for them but while it lasted it worked great. I am just hoping I can kind of duplicate the same thing in a cost effective manner and make some money doing it.
