I didn't say I wasn't getting the proper signal to noise values, just something I read here using the search feature and wanted to confirm it by asking here. My main question is the difference between NDIS 5.1 and Atheros as it shows the same device twice.

The Orinoco CLASSIC Gold is the most widely used card. I believe the one you have is the dork card.
