... makes any mention of the IP Address column nor how it functions.

It also does not specify where TCP\IP is to be left enabled, i.e., within
Netstumbler, within the wireless device, within the OS network settings, etc.
This is where networking 101 comes in and knowing of how TCP/IP and DHCP works. This is why you are having trouble comprehending the answers given to you. Now apologize to everyone and say thank you.
