Got the same problem. Buffalo Tech WLI-PCM-L11 in an IBM Thinkpad A21p. Specifically, the laptop has a Texas Instruments PCI-1450 Cardbus controller. What PCMCIA/Carbus controllers are in the Dells?

I tried it on a friend's Dell Inspiron 8000 w/ a built-in TrueMobile 1150 wireless card (mini-PCI) which I believe is a Lucent based card as well, and had the same problem.

Still trying to figure out where the problem is. Anyone have any ideas? Drivers are up to date. Both systems are running W2K.
