the tiny connector on the orinoco cards make larger cable inadvisable. the best thing to do is get the shortest pigtail you can find and then connect that to a thicker cable. LMR240 is probably the thickest you should go in your car. The UltraFlex variety is more flexible at the expense of slightly more loss (+15%).

For long runs, you can minimize loss by using a USB WiFi adapter instead. Keep the antenna cable as short as possible and use a long USB cable.
