My setup:

- Dell Inspiron 8200, TrueMobile 1150 internal miniPCI, no external antenna.

- Garmin eTrex venture.

- Netstumbler 0.3.22 (yes, the last version, as the latest would not detect the TrueMobile under XP, my only OS at the moment)

Results:

Location: Edmonton Alberta, Canada

Start time: 8:45pm (the moment I successfully purchased and hooked up the Garmin)

End time: 11:30pm

Results: 96 distinct AP's, and that's with a screw-up, where the system was not collecting any data for over an hour... Over 50% have no WEP...

This was more fun than I've had in years with technology, basically it brings the "nifty" factor back, same feeling as when I started my first BBS over 12 years ago, real eye-opening.
