No hatred meant, and it is unfortunate that you should perceive it that way. I do have nothing but contempt for those who come to this forum for illegal purposes. I make no apologies for that. If however, you are not intending to operate illegally, then I do regret that the tone might be somewhat harsh.

As to operating a WISP. Yes, it most certainly can be done by someone with high computer experience, and little or no radio experience. It would probably be easier the other way around. You will be a disadvantage. Were I you, I would find a local Ham or RF engineer, and befriend them, and then start to supply them with copius amounts of their favorite alcoholic beverages. You will need a fair amount of RF experience to get a WISP off the ground.
