You can try uBid to find a cheap laptop for stumbling. I bought a Dell p233 96mb 3.2gig 12.1 TFT etc. for US $239. There are others for even less than that. One thing though... assume you will have to buy a new battery for them. Most will be dead or will have very short run times. If that is not a problem, you can find some good deals.
