What version of Client Manager are you using? I downloaded latest of everything this week and I don't see the same options. :-(

At the Add/Edit Configuration Profile I have a choice of "Add" for a new profile, "Edit" for an existing profile, or "Delete". I choose "Edit" and it then takes me to a Edit Configuration window which shows the profile's name and allows me to change the network type from Access Point to Residential Gateway or Peer to Peer Group. The only way off this window is Next and there is no Admin option. As such I never see the rest of the options you explain to actually change the Mac address.

Per Help I am using OriNOCO Client Manager Variant 1, Version 2.00. Would be intersted in seeing if that is same as yours and if not how I could obtain a copy of yours and see if that helps. :-)
