ZipSlack + XP
Hi, in an attempt to make my own small wardriving linux install I decided to give ZipSlack a go. I've used this before on my old win98 machine and could boot into it perfectly. I read that XP requires a boot disk in order to enter ZipSlack. I downloaded the bootdisk.img and created a bootdisk. With my win 98 machine, putting boot disks in the A: drive would make my PC boot from the disk.
However, winXP refuses to and will load windows regardless.
So, tow questions...
1) am I right to assume that the boot.ini file is only for loading different versions of windows and not what I am looking for?
2) how do i get my laptop to boot from the A:? Is it through windows or bios?
TIA
