how do I put my card in monitor mode. I am running Red-Hat 8.0 with the Orinoco Gold card. The card seems to be working. It is active and the lights are blinking. Everytime I try and run Kimset it says your card is not in monitor mode.

Can you recommend any sites for Linux newbies thar will help me understand unpacking files and installing them.
