One of the features that I particularly like about 'dstumbler' is that it does _not_ require GTK, X, or any other GUI to compile or run, just 'curses'.

Even better would be an application that supports a strictly command-line mode of operation, with GUI/TUI as an optional mode.

A suggestion for 'Freestumble' - I'd be interested in support for _optional_ audible alerts on new/lost contacts, and perhaps a geiger-counter-like signal strength audio output.

Probably a good idea for the audio to default to 'disabled'.
