took me a while but i got it working.
Win XP Pro
Compaq Armada M700
US Robotics 2410
it's not the best card, but it can be hacked to add an external antenna, (which was a big help).
what you have to do is to download the newest drivers and firmware from USR (the new firmware gave about a 25% boot to the signal strength)
install netstumbler and switch from the prism settings to the nids settigns and it works perfectly.
