Thanks for the good info. I am leaning towards buying a usb and hooking the laPtop up via adhoc mode. That would be cheaper. My isp is easy to log onto. I have done it with other nics when driveing around useing the laptop. There omniport is about 4-5 miles away. I can drive over and log on just useing my stuff. I have noticed some karlnet popping up when I used the wavepoint software to scan. Silly me thought that was something karl was doing since that is his name-lol. Maybe they are makeing it more secure. Anyway, thank you for the info, wished I would of asked questions before I bought the wavepoint. Would of been money ahead.
