Just thought i'd add my 2-penn'orth.
I tried a Buffalo 54mbps CardBus Card.
WLI-CB-G54
(manufacturer Melco. inc.)
Working fine under XP
Appears as NDIS
The XP autoconnect seems unaffected,
i pulled up and stopped at a strong signal...
before i even got the laptop on my lap
i was notified of incoming mail !
Not sure who what chipset
but it seems to work fine.
on the other hand....a proxim harmony 8430 isn't even recognised by NS
actually XP doesn't see it as a wireless card either.
it see it as just another LAN card.
anyone know why ?
