so far without getting into yagi's the best direction stuff i seen are the bi-quads and bi-octs
just to screw around i put a bi-quad 1.25 inches from the back of a folgers can of coffee (the really big one) and man it rox
i had to experiment moving it back and forth until tuned right
im using it now
i got 2 of them on a couple linksys wets running in adhoc mode to eachother to bridge a lan to me from my church so they can get internet
