Ignore quote below...I was tired, frustrated and overly grumpy. I also discovered that this was not entirely the problem. With Win2000 SP3, NS, a Linksys WAP 11 ver 2.2 (with the bum firmware) and an Orinoco Gold card, you have to CLONE your PC's network adapter to the Linksys router. As soon as I did that....BOOM, I went from no connection at all to top of the line "Excellent!" Sheesh...no one in a million years would have suggested that to me (everyone just kept sending me pages from set up manuals or telling me to read their handy dandy FAQ's which never address anything pertinent). Lucky I have a brain....and am not afraid to use it!
