the drivers are successfully patched, i can put the card into monitor mode on one channel or a few (kismet_monitor -c #) and it works great but when i use the -H switch it will run for a bit and quit. sometimes longer sometimes shorter. I downloaded and installed the 13b drivers today (was using the 11b w/ cs 3.2.1) and upgraded to the 8.1 firmware witht the same effects. I also downloaded the orinoco_hopper.c file from airsnorts website and compiled that. it seems to work better than kismets but the downside is, that when it crashes it sometiems brings the entire system down....
On a side note: just a while ago i ran orinoco_hopper, put the card in monitor mode (kismet_monitor) and fired up kismet and it worked great...
the only thing is, is that orinoco_hopper seems to use up a bunch of cpu :-/

If the card isn't in monitor mode, it will cause that "kismet_monitor -H" IIRC will set monitor mode and hop.
If you don't have the rfmon hacked driver installed, it will cause that error as well. Use PCMCIA-CS 3.2.1 and the snax patch to go along with it.
