I did have data duh!
I was transferring files.
Please don’t try to explain things like brute force it makes you appear to not understand why I posted this.

dwepcrack says its an optimized brute force utilizing some weak iv's to determine key area.

So in that case it does need some weak keys

It has a second option that allow search of total key space which is what I want to use and it gives me that error
Please Google this stuff before u answer.
I’m looking for an answer from someone who is actually knowledgeable in bsdairtools

besides i found the answer

Subject: dwepcrack compatible with weak packet dump?
Date: 01:55:51 17/02/2003

Kismet writes standard 802.11-linktype dumps. The weak packet log is a trimmed dump with 1 beacon per network and weak data packets.

I have no idea what packet format dwepcrack expects, obviously it's not reading the standard packet format.

> Has anyone tried this before. I have been attempting to crack a weak packet dump consisting of around 2000. I feed in the file with the appropriate options and it complains to me about not finding a valid data packet...hmmm
