PocketLan CE blows. I used it fro about a day before I got irritated by it.

go to www.vieka.com and download PE Explorer Suite 5.0.

It's the ONLY (and I stress ONLY) software that allows WindowsCE 3.0 PocketPCs to map drives (with no assistance from a host PC). PocketLan uses a host PC to accomplish this which makes it pretty useless if you are outside of the network that your PC THAT HAS TO BE RUNNING ACTIVESYNC is on.

It has full file explorer capability with the additions of PocketZip, FTP, and Drive Mapping. I have been using it for awhile now and it's never asked me to register and all functions work.

If you merely want to map drives, you can get PE Net but you might as well get the whole package as it's about the same file size...
