The utility does dump the CIS in HEX format (with the -cd filename) parameter like you said.
Problem is, I wouldn't have a clue what to edit in there.

if you can actually figure out how to program the CIS properly, don't have to edit it; someone who has a Lucent-branded Silver
(such as i) can just send you a CIS dump.
