OK.. Switched over from prismstumbler to kismet.. Vast improvement.. For those of you who are using netstumbler to *find* networks, I highly recommend kismet, as you'll find them, but then also be able to see the data in ethereal or tcpdump.. Plus find ad-hoc networks and cloaked networks. On top of that, noone will know you're stumbling (unlike netstumbler, which broadcasts requesting beacons)...
There's a elementry school about 4 miles north of 78 past clinton that has a parking lot directly in the path of a tower to tower link for the local wireless ISP.. Neato stuff..
