I was surprised when I opened it up, because I was expecting to find a board with a PCMCIA card plugged into it. Instead there is a board, and on each side of it is a metal enclosure big enough to hold a PCMCIA card. It's soldered closed, and so far I have not felt like trying to pop it open.
