Networking 101

Networking 101

Often people coming to NetStumbler.com seeking help with wireless networking, yet they lack information on networking basics. The problem is that without a solid grounding in networking, they get hopelessly lost. Wireless networking adds another level to an already complex issue. My observation is that most of the problems that new people experience have NOTHING to do with wireless, and everything to do with the basics, such as TCP/IP.

If you are new to this, do yourself a favor, and get acquainted with BASIC networking. Once you have mastered the basics, then move on to wireless.
