couple questions I'd have are what would the duration of your RC unit be? Unless it moved in then was stationary, I suspect a RC unit would run out of gas/juice fairly quickly.. even a stationary one would run out of battery power.

second issue would be range of the radio units.. most don't go very far. A strong directional antenna would be a more practical use, imo.
