Here are the Channel Bits:

Code:
Channel	Hex	Binary
-------	----	----------------
 1	0002	0000000000000010
 2	0004	0000000000000100
 3	0008	0000000000001000
 4	0010	0000000000010000
 5	0020	0000000000100000
 6	0040	0000000001000000
 7	0080	0000000010000000
 8	0100	0000000100000000
 9	0200	0000001000000000
10	0400	0000010000000000
11	0800	0000100000000000
12	1000	0001000000000000
13	2000	0010000000000000
14	4000	0100000000000000
FYI:
1-11 US (FCC) & Canada
1-13 Europe (ETSI)
1-14 Japan

You may not have seen anything above 11 if you're in the US or Canada. Some people get equipment which is designated for other countries or hack the firmware to add additional channels. So you may occationally see channels 12-14 in the US or Canada. (BTW, running such equipment in a country is where the equipment isn't compliant is illegal.)

DHCP is a TCP/IP and networking function, it has nothing to do with NS.
