Fedora is incredibly easy to use and setup. Got it up and running in about 20 min. I only got a couple of problems. The first is that after it goes into graphical mode (boots into gnome), if you switch to a text terminal (ctrl + alt + 2), the screen just stays black, and you never get the chance to login (atleast that I can see). I tried several different graphic options like resolution, set the refresh rate to 60, and tried switching the monitor between generic lcd 1024 and dell lcd 1024 monitors. The only option I havn't tried is the un-probed monitor.
Also, I kinda ran into a brick wall when I tried to install the HostAp drivers. Where it asks for the kernel path, I was wondering which path to use. I have the i686 and the most recent kernel. I am going to skip this part, and see how it goes, because it says it is optional. If you need more info to solve my problem, I will have to look it up and give it to you (if I even need the HostAP).... I am in windows right now typing this.
