I'm trying to install the MadWiFi drivers to use with a Proxim a/b/g card. I have downloaded using cvs and when I try to run a make I get the following response

Makefile.inc:137: /lib/modules/2.4.18-14/build/.config: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target `/lib/modules/2.4.18-14/build/.config'. Stop.

I see that it's looking for a kernel config file but can't find it, but I don't know where to go from here. Can anyone tell me what it's looking for and how to fix it? Any help would be much appreciated...
