That'll teach me for not researching!!!
Hiya Guys,
A few weeks a go I went out and bought a new Buffalo 54G wireless card and did a bit of stumbling with NS, I wanted to have a go with Kismet then began to have problems I searched on here and found that it probably wouldnt work with Linux. So im going to buy a Linux compatible card for my laptop, I know the general concensus is Buy Orinoco but im not sure if I can be doing with all the patching of drivers (I`m not to clever with Linux) so iv been looking at ones that will work straight out the box, i.e. the Compex WL54G. I have been looking in my pcworld catalogue too and theres a couple in there the SMC EZ Connect I know the 54 is ok but this is the 11 would this work ok? there are also a few other like the belkin, Netgear, 3com and Dlink ones I just wanted to check if anyone has had any problems and if it is a simple plug it in and go?
Cheers
