Thats the easy part! My neighbors think it's a great idea, and of course, this way, the cost of the bandwitdh is effectively spread over a few households rather than me having to foot the bill for an expensive line.
On top of that, if one of them decides to move, thats just fine, whereas if we all chipped in to get an expensive line in one location, we would be screwed if someone decided to move out and we'd end up paying the extra!
But on that note, what are the options for a T1 line? The only provider that services my road is BT (obviously via their phone lines).
