Came across a post on the Aximsite that says the Dell Axim X30 with the integrated wireless works - I'm not certain if this is different hardware or different drivers - the X30 does ship with WM2003SE.

Apparently the X30 uses the Dell TM1210 so I guess the different hardware is why it works.
